Re: The Ones
Hi Gerry, My first turntable was a beautiful Ariston RD 11. Ciaran bought it off me decades ago. Seems like it was always meant to be yours though! He might still have it. Nice pic here... https://www.filepicker.io/api/file/noCm1UrBSbGyOzB8uwSk+Copy%20of%20AUDIOGON%20011.jpg/convert?w=840&h=630&...

New hifi outlet in Dublin
Hi all,
Bumped into Jonathan of the Listening Suite a few days back and he and David are opening a new store on Wicklow Street - above the 'Camper' shoe shop. Three floors of gear and demo space - and slap bang between Tower Records and Freebird. Clever lads!
Very best of luck.

I'd like to avoid the black, welded steel,...

Re: A new isolation product - E_sorb
and whereas the bass can still tickle the trouser flaps, the vibrations in the floor boards have gone. Bass, mids and highs all still there but more focussed IMHO. And there's less booming bass travelling upstairs. Hence later, louder listening sessions. *There is a flexibility in the E_sorbs. So 's...

Re: Which courier company to use for hifi to Europe
Request buyer to pick up and cut a deal. Otherwise use the courier company that shipped it to you (unless it arrived in poor shape).
