Many thanks @meep. Eventually went for a new cable from Titan Audio in the North. Spent a little more than expected, but got a significant reduction on their Black Friday offer. Have it wrapped up for the Mrs to give it to me on Christmas morning.

Have spoken to a record shop owner(friend) in the past on this subject. Basically they'll give you somewhere between 20-30% of what they'll sell it on for (lower value for cash, upper for trade). My advice is to catalog (discogs or spreadsheet) and post a link to that list here (first) or on FB Viny...

I'm using Phonak Lumity aids and using Phonak's TV Connector V2 plugged into digital audio output of the TV. Works brilliantly for me (and the rest of the family). Liken it to listening to TV with headphones on and allowing me to control volume separate from TV output.
