Re: Streaming - how many are doing it?
Have been streaming for probably 15 years or more... 1. Initially via a Squeezebox Classic, streaming about 1,200 of my own albums ripped to FLAC with EAC and stored on a home PC. (There are quite a few hard-to-find CD masterings that makes this an ongoing necessity.) 2. Then with a Tidal Hi Fi Subs...

Re: Jimmy Webb
Yeah, really good interview. Webb is great at reminiscing about the classic recording sessions in the 1960s in Hollywood and Beato is smart enough to ask all the right questions giving him plenty of time to answer them.

Re: Buffalo Springfield
I can highly recommend this set - a great sounding, terrific overview of one of the most influential bands of all time. A must for fans of Neil Young, Stephen Stills and that early West Coast sound that included The Byrds, Love, Doors etc. There are both mono and stereo versions of some of tracks an...

MISSION MVC CENTRE SPEAKER (Free to collect)
I've one of these to give away if anyone is interested... Decent full sound, weighs a ton, bi-wireable etc. (Cabinet is a light beech colour with a silver-ish front fascia, attachable front cover also included.) Bought new as part of a Mission surround sound system. https://www.hifix.co.uk/mission-m...

Re: Qobuz and Tidal
I can't remember which online (Youtube) audio reviewer it was who said he preferred TIDAL over Qobuz? I think he said they were both great but that he detected a slightly "toppier," edgier sound with Qobuz - which might translate for some into more clarity, detail etc - which is often the ...

Re: Old Items for Charity
Hi Conor,
I'd be interested in the amp if it's still available. (If both have to be sold together I would be happy to do that too.)
Will send pm

Colm

Re: Tidal €2 for 4 months
Have had Tidal Hi-Fi for three or four years now without any problems.
Twenty quid a month for all of that music in decent quality is an absolute bargain - I used to spend twice that a week on CDs/Records in the late 80s early 90s...
