I think you are right. But one does not exclude the other. Besides, with a DAC I would still want a transport. So with that in mind the CDP makes sense. Of course I wont be able to return the CDP if I get it, and then find the DAC to be better... ;) Is there a price point mentioned for Jkeny's DAC?

Still no sign of the DAC but I went out to have a look at a B.A.T. VK-D5SE for sale in the Buy&Sell. What a piece of equipment! It seems to tick all my HiFi boxes. And at a very good price and as new condition. I don't suppose anyone has any experience with this machine? Cannot think of a reason...

Wow! That is fantastic! I have been only loosely following the whole T-amp thing and seems to be great value. With regards to DACs I am not surprised as the technology is evolving fast. Now you start to wonder what a great power supply would do for such a setup or even batteries...? Which amp is it ...

As it says I am looking for an amp. It is for my home studio. I am getting a pair of PMC DB1+ that I am going to use as monitors and a second system. I am hoping for something in the 70 watt plus range. Let me know if you see or hear of anything!
