No worries and thanks. I was getting the 374 as linked in previous posts. Cheers. :)randytsuch wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2017 3:43 pm Do not use a 373. Made a mistake :(
Need a 374. Or two 74s. But the 374 will be easier to use for this

Re: Soekris Dam Dac
Hi, for the potato flip-flops, where shall I connect the OE pin to? Other pins are straightforward. Thanks. Did you get the 373? OE is active low, so tie it to ground. This way, outputs are always active, which is what you want. If OE is high, outputs go high impedance, which basically means they d...

Re: Another interesting r2r dac
Thanks, Rick and Nige.
A stand-alone R2R network and shift register might actually be welcomed. I suppose we could use off-board clock and implement a good output stage to try to get great sound quality, if the standalone R2R network is not flawed.

Re: Another interesting r2r dac
Thanks, Rick. It interests me since its power supply is easier to implement. 3.3V and 60ma for two boards in push-pull mode. Very easy to go with batteries. Another thing is that it is not so power hungry as the soekris, since soekris draw a lot of current with its digital part. So, the diyer at diy...
