alsa is bit archaic but it works, i case someone have problem with sound on linux i recommend trying pulseaudio which is more up to date approach ps. centos is more less server distro (based on redhat) i won`t recommend it for multimedia even slackware have more recent versions of packages/kernel (3...

there is no benefit from ssd drive unless it is system drive you do not need sdd for storing large files (audio, video), you should setup yor PC on sdd and then add 2TB as a second hdd for storing such files.

it was democratic choice of peoples of UK why is so hard to accept that, it is done. i was watching boot messages while booting wtf-live i don`t know where you sourced the kernel but there is ck-patch with BFS for sure in your kernel.

yes, no problem i manged it myself i changed a few system settings and mpd.conf also turned on full realtime in kernel, for now i only lack of BFS as there is no patch for 4.6 kernel yet. ps. i had to reboot to run from usb-drive vs sdd to compare. ps2. i can source your kernel config from /proc/con...
